Benefits of TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding

Benefits of TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding

TIG welding process uses the intense heat of an electric arc between a non-consumable tungsten electrode and the material to be welded. In this process the electrode is not consumable during welding process and gas is used to protect the weld area from atmospheric air.

Benefits of TIG Welding:

• Usage of non-consumable tungsten

• Filler material is added by hand, when needed

• Shielding gas protects the weld and tungsten

• Produces high quality and clear weld

• Detailed precision

• Various applications and positions

• Welds more materials than any other process
